Lily Allen threw a punch at a passer-by during a drinking session in London's Soho early this morning. Witnesses suggested Lily reacted after being heckled as she left Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club at 2am. With a short reach, the punch appeared to fail to connect. The Smile singer's friends, including TV presenter Miquita Oliver, then managed to restrain Lily, persuading her to get into a car. Lily's target appeared to laugh off the attack, looking more bemused than terrified. Lily and her friends had started their night at the Groucho Club, before heading to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. Earlier in the evening, Lily was in a friendlier mood as she chatted to photographers outside Ronnie Scott's and playfully punched the air. She told the paparazzi that their attention made her feel like a zoo animal and suggested she entertain them with a joke.

The reported rivalry between US singer Katy Perry and her rival Lily Allen took a new turn when Perry's boyfriend revealed that he has a crush on Allen. Perry is dating Tarvis McCoy from the rock band Gym Class Heroes, reports thesun.co.uk. When asked if he has any crushes on any celebrities, he said: "Lily Allen. I met her before very briefly. She's cute. Yeah... I'd like to see her again." Perry is set to release her new album soon, but Allen has postponed her next album release for fear of competition.

British singer Lily Allen seems to be so intimidated by upcoming US crooner Katty Perry's popularity that she has shelved her new album release. But Perry played down the comparisons with Allen and the reported battle. Thesun.co.uk reports her as saying: "I think I sound different to her. She's (Allen) in a league of her own." Both Allen and Perry's new albums, "Stuck On The Naughty Step" and "One Of The Boys" respectively, were set to be released in Britain soon. Perry shot to fame with her song "I Kissed a Girl". The lyrics include, "I kissed a girl and I liked it... the taste of her cherry chapstick". Some fans approached Perry taking the lyrics literally. She said: "The problem is girls now keep asking for a kiss. After every gig on my tour, I stay behind to do an autograph signing. But about a dozen women will want a snog. I just sweetly say, 'No, thank you'. If I kissed everybody who asked, I'd probably go away with something I don't really want!" She added: "I'm not a lesbian, I love men. As for kissing a girl, I'm holding out for Megan Fox."

Hey everyone, here's the message Lily posted on her blog about the pictures that were taken of her on August 7. To see the pictures, see the post below. hello , i wore a loose fitting t shirt yesterday . I was very hot in London yesterday , and it's no secret I don't like wearing bras , besides i don't need to, measuring in at 32A it hardly seems necessary .My boob fell out twice and people on the blogs are saying it was a publicity stunt . Can I just say , i have been keeping myself very much to myself recently , i've been gardening , decorating my new flat and looking after my greiving grandfather . If i wanted publicity , i'd be accepting invitations not to mention money for turning up to glamourous events . I'm actually trying really hard to be out of the public eye , as I'm really proud of the work i've put into my album and I want people to appreciate the music , yes I enjoy attention and praise , thats why i went into this job . But don't accuse me of purposely slipping out of my clothes to get attention and press . I hate the fact that there are always 10 middle aged men following me everywhere that i go . I understand that it's the price i pay for having a nice house and nice clothes , and i treat them with courtesy when i don't think that they particularly deserve it . i'm a very independent person and I like to live as normal a life as anybody where I can ,I live by myself , i drive myself around and run all my errands by myself . It's actually incredibly embarrasing and lonely when I'm walking down the street and men are chasing me with their cameras , drawing attention to me and people then pointing and taking out their camera's and phones all getting in on the action . I'm 5"2 i'm 23 and this stuff gets to me every so often , so when you see pictures of " lily looking , glum" or " lily in tears , again" it's not because i'm upset about my relationships or because i'm hungover . It's because i'm on my own and people are pointing at me like an animal in the zoo , talking about me as if i'm not there, meanwhile 10 -20 guys are all making money catching every second of it . Lily Allen has split from musician Ed Simons after getting back with him recently. Allen made the announcement on her Facebook profile, reports thesun.co.uk. Simons and Allen had split in February but got close again recently when he comforted her after her grandmother's death. On July 7, Allen changed her status on her Facebook profile saying: "In a relationship with Ed Simons". But recently she changed it back to saying she was single again. She also posted a note saying she was "wasting away".

Mohammed Al Fayed has helped Lily Allen move home by offering her store discounts, say reports. According to The Mirror, the Harrods boss has given Allen a washing machine and dishwasher at a cut "well over half price". Allen is friends with the shopkeeper's daughter Camilla, who asked her father for the favour. "Lily's flat is lovely, but it helps when you've got friends in high places," said a source. "When she told Camilla she was moving into her new place she jumped into action and asked her dad if he could help Lily out. Of course he said 'yes'. Not all of it was free, but he gave Lily a massive discount. He is always very generous with his friends."
